Michael Caputo

Calabrian born, Michael (Michele) moved to Canada at age 14, when his parents decided to join their numerous family in Montreal, Quebec. After almost two years, Michael and his family moved to Ontario, where he has lived most of his life, with the exception of two intervals in California and one in Rome, Italy. Michael has been a psychotherapist, a high school counsellor and teacher, and a college instructor.

Michael holds degrees in Psychology, Education, a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology and Education and various teaching qualifications.

Michael has published the award-winning book, God Seen Through the Eyes of the Greatest Minds and several other books. The book he has approached with the most love, though, has been his book on his beloved Calabria, THE COIN FROM CALABRIA: DISCOVERING THE HISTORICAL ROOTS OF MY CALABRIAN PEOPLE, a book about the history of the people of the Angitola Valley, in central Calabria, and of ancient Calabria. Michael is the proud father of three dynamic children and the grateful husband of a most beautiful woman of Central Italian descent.
